Enable Recordings front man, Brian Sanhaji has just been confirmed to play at the Melbourne Techno Collective’s next installment of Tastes Like Techno on March 27th. Sanhaji who has just been signed to Chris Liebing’s CLR label, is one of the hottest properties in the techno scene at the moment, with a sound that is both relentlessly hard and unashamedly modern. Sanhaji shot to fame on the back of his mind blowing Enable releases, which have seen him compared with legends Richie Hawtin, Speedy J and the aforementioned Chris Liebing.

Tastes Like Techno 3 will take place at Brown Alley on March 27th. More details and the full local line-up will be released soon.

The Melbourne Techno Collective’s Craig McWhinney has just released another massive remix for the U.S. based Nightshade Music. McWhinney’s second release for Nightshade is a remix of Jostle by label owners Kris B and Nosmo. Typical of his recent Devil May Care release and The Coveted from his Antiquated EP, McWhiney’s mix sees lush chords building slowly towards an earth shattering break, laid down upon on a solid bed of techy percussion.

John Selway - Feb 14 @ Ffour

U.S. techno legend, John Selway will touch down in Melbourne for a unique collaboration between Pretty Simple and the Melbourne Techno Collective on Saturday Feburary 14th at club Ffour. Supported by local DJs; Sam McEwin, Craig McWhinney, Matt Radovich, Dave Pham, Mike Callander, Becy Live, west:one, Jon Beta, Alam & m1kest4r; John Selway’s appearance has been long overdue and should be very well received. read more?
