True to its name, the story of Trinity is one best told in three parts.

As a live performer, she has appeared at some of the biggest clubs and festivals – Tresor and Tomorrowland to name but two, and has regularly shared the billing alongside names like Dasha Rush, Vril and Marcel Dettmann.

Her DJing and live show has taken her to India, New Zealand, Germany, Belgium, Bali, Malta and Spain – but it was her joining with Richie Hawtin during the Vivid Festival at Sydney’s Opera House in 2017 that was yet another breakout moment for the Sydney-based but seemingly always Berlin-bound flyer.

Each show brings with it a unique type of techno versatility: from dub techno soundscapes, minimal and Chicago house, to straight-up techno – all combining to make for a distinct and oft-moving performance.

As a producer, she’s regularly getting into the studio and collaborating with the likes of Eric Cloutier, Headless Horseman, Luke Hess, and XDB. Her recent vinyl EP ‘Cascade Drive’ on Nightime Drama made its way into some of the best record shops including Hardwax. (Next vinyl on the label is in collaboration with Steven Tang, with Daniela La Luz and Basic Soul Unit contributing remixes on the EP.)

Her 2014 album debut ‘Blinded by 1000 Points of Light’ – co-produced with friend John Tzineris – showcased nine tracks comprised of atmospheric melodies and deep chords. Traversing techno and minimal soundscapes – it was all recorded live and received with critical acclaim.

Outside of her live gigs and heavy production schedule, she’s busy supporting and promoting the techno scene in her home town of Sydney. As well as cultivating new up and coming local talent, she has also brought a steady stream of the best to the Harbour city, including Artefakt, Peter Van Hoesen, Steffi, Eli Verveine and Virginia. 2017 also saw her start working officially as A&R for record label Nightime Drama running various Nightime Drama events in Sydney.

True to her Australian roots, but savouring and celebrating the techno capital of the world, Berlin, she recently performed live at ’Australia Now’ a Government initiative that showcased some of Australia’s finest talent in Berlin, exploring the connections of electronic music between Australia and Berlin.

Trinity is the thinking musician’s musician, and hers is a star that is rising. From the pride and care evident in all her productions, to the ability to get a dance floor absolutely heaving — she is a musical force to be experienced, savored and enjoyed.

Bio written by Elliot Giakalis

Magda Bytnerowicz:

Over the past decade, Sydney-based Magda Bytnerowicz has been quietly solidifying her credentials as DJ with a deft touch, equally capable of warming up a room for fanatic house heads or closing it after techno gods, as well as garnering warm respect as a peak slot spinner in her own right.

In 2013 Magda joined the ranks of the few local selectors being invited to guest headline at Sydney’s prestigious long-running institution, Mad Racket, as well as heading down to country Victoria for the inaugural Inner Varnika festival. This was followed up with her international debut at Cabaret in Tokyo in early 2014 as well as a repeat invitation to join the Inner Varnika festivities and an increased interstate profile – she’s been a regular guest at Melbourne’s Mania, Lucid and Lost Weekend parties.

Expect a consummately presented selection of underground house and techno in her DJ sets.
