The 2 hour set starts super deep with Benny Blanko’s now classic Put Your Hands and stays deep, beore lifting the tempo and exploring a variety of sounds, genres and flavours in what was an unique and interesting performance at the South Yarra night spot.
Download a recording of Matt Radovich and Sam McEwin’s set from the weekends Darkbeat event. The mix – a laidback techy affair – was the opening set in the main room at Brown Alley, which also saw sets from Slam, Fergie, Silicone Soul and a host of locals.
Recorded live at the John Selway event held at Melbourne’s club Ffour on Valentines day 2009. Playing warm up to John Selway, Sam McEwin starts with deep, brooding house and minimal techno which steadily builds towards a harder and more dancefloor orianted groove.
Recorded at the Melbourne Techno Collective website launch in October 2008, this fantastic mix by Craig McWhinney mysteriously dissapeared only to turn up again in 2009. So while it might be a little late, a mix this good just has to heard. Check it out today.
