Knowing music and knowing the people in front of them.

Morwell Falcons Soccer Club 20 years ago

How was it?

Very interesting, lots of drunk girls, RnB and goon bags

Most memorable gig and why?

Way to many to mention, some standouts would the playing with Jeff Mills, Aphex Twin, Surgeon, Sandwell District, Dj Shadow, Collabs,Grandmaster Flash, Flying Lotus & Gilles Peterson. Playing the V Festival on the Gold Coast. Playing a vs set with McWhinney at Sunshine people before Cj Bolland, Every Stereosonic. Every single fucking MTC!!!

I can go on and on and on, but i’ll spare you

Most disastrous gig and why?

Ha ha ha way to many to mention as well. I wont name names, cos I might still have to play at these places again the the future

How do you perform now? (CDs, vinyl, laptop etc.)

Vinyl and CDs

What made you choose the above?

Cos it has been the way I have been doing it since I started and im too old and stubborn to change now.

is pretty sweet but can be frustrating at the same time. But I wouldn’t change it, cos I’ve had way too much fun and met way to many awesome people, some of whom I now consider as part of my family

My MTC partners, my Stable mates, my fellow operatives, my family and my lovely partner

I would say it’s my full time

Not possessing any of the habits of bad DJs.

East Doncaster Mecedonian Recreation Centre. Sometime in 2000.

How was it?

Blindingly good.

JB3 – Forklift (I think)

Most memorable gig and why?

Seems like the best ones are the ones I have most trouble remembering.

Most disastrous gig and why?

Jeez I fuck something up every time, but I guess a Sunday morning at Revolver a few years ago would have to take the cake: got too drunk before I played, got slapped in the face as soon as I finished, found a ‘free’ vodka and tonic smashed in my record bag at the end of the night, and had my jacket pinched.

How do you perform now? (CDs, vinyl, laptop etc.)

I’ve been moving between vinyl and my laptop for last 4 years. Leaning more towards vinyl at the moment.

Don’t know, just go with whatever I feel like doing.

Hopefully a release party for my upcomming single on hAUL (Mike andCraig’s label). An another release/label party for my upcomming 10″ EP on Firecracker/Unthank.

Your mum’s sink. And South Side Hustle, every Sunday night at Lucky Coq here in Melbourne. Adam Askew and myself play alongside guesting house heads ’til the wee hours.
