KONRAD BLACK

“Like liquid glass in your ears; the struggle between inner light and external darkness unearths moments of beauty in the corners of our collective consciousness. We choose to live our lives at night, and worship music like the sun”.

Part of the first wave of North American producers to infiltrate Berlin’s modern techno movement, Konrad Black’s shadowy production style and charismatic live persona has since had dance-floors basking in the long shadows cast by his presence on the scene. His signature sound is a masterwork of harmonious contradictions, pairing apocalyptic basslines and moody synth progressions with a cinematic temperament that finds its most compelling moments within the spaces between the notes.

TUNNEL SIGNS

Tunnel Signs is the nom de plume of Aussie born- NYC sometimes -lover/fighter/romantic Ash Moses. With a taste for playing and producing records that embrace the darkness, Moses parts the sea and finds the wonky middle ground between reverb drenched postpunk, hypnotic techno and spaced out disco. Having released on forward thinking labels such as Nein, Clouded Vision and HAKT, Moses has only just begun adjusting the looking glass with 2017 set to be his darkest year yet.

BONE ITCH (DANNY BONNICI / MAGIC FEET)

As Robert Schumann famously said, ‘Nothing right can be accomplished in art without enthusiasm’ and Bone Itch has that in spades. His positive and compassionate nature is an innate quality, and this free flowing passion manifests itself in totally honest and unique musical output.

Today, Bone Itch draws influences from the more innovative creators. Artists such as Andrew Weatherall, Phil K , Craig Bratley, Tronik Youth, Morgan Hammer, Tornado Wallace, Mike Callander, Darius Bassiray, No.1 Delicious, Gab Oliver, Andy Page, Tipper, Mathew Jonson and Ivan Smagghe.

Bone Itch excels at reinventing the sounds of yesterday to build an evolved and current mood of tomorrow. His sound is a synthesis between well-structured cosmic disco, house, deep spaced out techno and the instinctive vitality of slo-mo drug chug groove. A dynamic producer who embraces his diverse musical tastes to create boundary pushing sleaze which encompasses both past and present influences.

For his debut, Bone Itch will be teaming up with No.1 Delicious to remix Musik Non Stop’s ‘No Runnin’ which will be released on Craig Bratley’s label, Magic Feet Records.

An EP is soon to follow, and a full length album is scheduled for release in 2017.

NO.1 DELICIOUS (NEIN / MAGIC FEET)

No.1 Delicious received reparations for slavery due to a hot hand in a dice game and become the richest man in America. He was born as an identical twin to brother Tron Carter, is known to diversify his bonds, and also carries an infant around in a stroller which inspired his first single “I just bought this baby, straight cash.”

He has released on Craig Bratley’s Magic Feet imprint, and has a forthcoming remix for the 25th anniversary of the culturally and globally significant Australian protest song by Yothu Yindi – “Treaty” due for release in late November on Razor Recordings.
